Why it is our Best Overall
The Ostrichpillow GO is built for travelers who fly four hours or more and have given up on gas-station neck pillows that collapse the moment they doze off. If your head tends to drop forward in economy, or you fly red-eyes and need to arrive able to work, this is the one on our list that takes support most seriously.
It earns the Best Overall slot because the memory foam is dense enough to hold its shape under the weight of a sleeping head, and the wrap-around design closes at the front instead of leaving the usual gap under your chin. Travel + Leisure rated it as a clear step above the standard U-pillow, and that matches what the ostrichpillow go travel pillow is known for: a snug, almost brace-like hold that keeps your neck in line with your spine. The cover is removable for washing, which matters on something that touches your face for hours.
On a real trip it works like this. You clip the pillow to your carry-on handle with its strap at the gate, board, then wrap it around your neck and fasten it once the seatbelt sign goes off. Because it hugs the whole neck, it works whether you lean against the window or sit upright in a middle seat. On a transatlantic overnight it is the difference between two fragmented naps and a solid block of sleep.
The honest drawback is bulk. Like every pillow in this subcategory, the ostrichpillow go travel pillow takes real space, and it does not fold flat or deflate. Travelers who pack a single tight personal item, or who only fly short domestic hops, should skip it and look at a lighter option. For everyone else it is the pick we would buy first.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to what travelers ask most about ostrichpillow go.
Does the Ostrichpillow GO fit in a backpack or personal item?
It is a full-size memory foam pillow and does not compress flat, so it takes meaningful space inside a personal item. Most owners hang it from the included strap on a backpack or carry-on handle instead. Check the Amazon listing for current packed dimensions.
Can I wash the Ostrichpillow GO cover?
The outer cover is designed to be removed and washed, which is one reason we rank it above cheaper pillows for frequent flyers. Follow the care instructions on the Amazon listing and avoid machine-washing the foam core itself.
Is the Ostrichpillow GO better than the Cabeau Evolution X?
Both are serious memory foam pillows. The Ostrichpillow GO wraps fully around the neck for a snug, brace-like feel; the Cabeau Evolution X uses a flatter back and front clasp. Side sleepers often prefer the Ostrichpillow; people who find a tight wrap too warm may prefer Cabeau.
